Farmer’s markets are one of the best places to buy genuine local produce and offer a great opportunity to connect directly with those who make and produce your food. Ideal for ethical shoppers wanting to keep those food miles low, a visit to one of our markets gives a real flavour of the area.
Sunny West Sussex is proud of its farming heritage. The markets are operated by people who can tell you all about the products on sale and exactly where they came from. Often, those doing the selling also grew the crops, reared the livestock, or made the products on display.
Farmer’s markets allow us to buy local, seasonal, and organic, sustainably produced fresh produce, and are a showcase for food and drink products across the county. Browse from our great markets across the county below and come along for a rewarding visit.
