Bignor Hill

Bignor Hill stands tall and provides extreme challenges for walkers, runners and riders. There is an old Celtic legend that a dragon had its lair on top of the hill and its remains can be seen in the folds of the ground. It must have died making its way up the hill because the climb is lung-busting. But the views you get from the South Downs Way at the top and other footpaths and bridleways around Glatting Beacon are well worth the effort.
