Amberley Museum

If you want to discover more about the industrial heritage of West Sussex and the South East, spend the day at Amberley Museum. Just a 15-minute car journey from Pulborough or Arundel train stations, there is something for all the family with good access for all ages and mobility needs. Travel back in time and explore the working past in the former quarry located in the heart of the South Downs National Park. With over 40 exhibit areas to discover, including a narrow-gauge railway, historic buses, rural crafts and extensive communications displays, there is something for everyone. The team of friendly and knowledgeable volunteers are on hand to demonstrate, chat and reminisce. Amberley are a dog-friendly museum and welcome your pets and assistance dogs (kept on a short lead). Well-behaved dogs are allowed in all exhibition buildings, on vintage buses and also in the Limeburners Café where you can stop for lunch and even get an ice cream for dogs!
